The Emerson FISHER 67DFR – P4 Filter Regulator is a pressure – reducing filter regulator of the FISHER brand under Emerson. It belongs to the 67D series and is usually used to provide stable pressure – reducing functions for vaporized liquids to pilot – operated controllers and other pneumatic instruments. Here is its introduction:
Working Principle: This regulator is of direct – acting type. The downstream pressure is taken from the low – pressure side inside the valve diaphragm. When the downstream pressure is equal to or higher than the set pressure, the valve plug blocks the valve core under pressure, and no fluid passes through the regulator. When the downstream demand rises, the downstream pressure slightly decreases, the spring elongates, causing the valve stem to move downward, and the valve plug disengages from the valve core, allowing fluid to pass through the regulator.

Pressure Parameters: The maximum inlet pressure for all filtered models is 250 psig (17.2 bar). The outlet pressure range for aluminum construction is 0 to 125 psig (0 to 8.6 bar), and for stainless – steel construction is 0 to 150 psig (0 to 10.3 bar). The maximum emergency outlet pressure is 150 psi (10.3 bar) above the outlet pressure setting, but not exceeding 250 psi (17.2 bar).
Temperature Range: For nitrile (NBR) material, the standard temperature is – 20°F to 180°F (- 29°C to 82°C), and the low temperature is – 40°F to 180°F (- 40°C to 82°C); for silicone (VMQ), it is – 60°F to 180°F (- 51°C to 82°C); for fluorocarbon (FKM), it is 0°F to 300°F (- 18°C to 149°C).
