Factory – Direct 1 – Inch FISHER 98hm Pressure Reducing Regulator

The FISHER 63EG – 98HM is a pilot – operated relief valve or backpressure regulator, which can be used in gas, liquid, or steam applications. For applications up to 550°F (288°C), it utilizes high – temperature ethylene propylene (EPDM) or perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) to achieve Class VI shut – off performance. If used in corrosive service, perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) and other elastomers are available options, which offer excellent resistance to heat and most corrosive chemicals.
This regulator has a variety of construction materials, including standard structures such as WCB steel and CF8M stainless steel. Alloys such as Alloy 20, Hastelloy® C, and Monel® are also available. It has chemically compatible elastomers, a fast response speed, NACE availability, and can be easily converted to differential control, providing versatility in both liquid and gas services.
In terms of specifications, its pressure registration is external, and the temperature capability is of generic spec 2 value. The body sizes include NPS 2, 3, 4, 6, 8×6 (DN 50, 80, 100, 150, 200×150), and the end connections are in the forms of CL150RF, CL300RF, CL600RF, PN 16, 25, 40, etc. The maximum inlet pressure is 450 psig (31 bar) or the body rating limit, whichever is lower, and the maximum outlet pressure is also 450 psig (31 bar) or the body rating limit, whichever is lower. The spring range is 15 to 375 psig (1 to 25.9 bar).
