The FISHER T208 regulator is a product of Emerson. It belongs to the direct – acting tank blanketing vapor recovery regulator. Here is its introduction:
Function and Use: It is used to sense the increase in vessel pressure and vent the excessive internal pressure in the tank to the corresponding vapor recovery disposal or reclamation system. It can also be used as a backpressure regulator or a relief valve.
Product Features: It has accurate control; easy conversion between different constructions; corrosion resistance; an option of arctic construction; and an option of FDA / USP Class VI approved / additive – free construction.
Specification Parameters: The body sizes are 3/4 inch (DN20) or 1 inch (DN25). The maximum allowable inlet (casing) pressure is 35 psig (2.4 bar) for gray cast iron and 75 psig (5.2 bar) for carbon steel or stainless steel. The maximum outlet pressure is 35 psig (2.4 bar). The maximum emergency inlet pressure is 35 psig (2.4 bar) for NBR or FKM diaphragm and 10 psig (0.7 bar) for FEP diaphragm. In terms of standard temperature range, it is – 20 to 180 °F (- 29 to 82 °C) for NBR and FEP diaphragms, and – 20 to 225 °F (- 29 to 107 °C) for EPDM diaphragm. For high – temperature range, it is 40 to 300 °F (4 to 149 °C) for FKM and 0 to 300 °F (- 18 to 149 °C) for FFKM. The spring case vent connection is 1/4 NPT, the diaphragm case control line connection (type T208M) is 1/2 NPT, and the approximate weight is 17.7 pounds (8 kg).
