The FISHER 1098 – EGR regulator provides economical and accurate pressure control in a wide variety of applications, including natural gas distribution systems, fuel gas supply to industrial boilers, furnaces, ovens, and mixers, and large commercial or industrial establishments such as shopping centers and schools. It is also used in plant air service and in liquid service.
It has the following features:
Low – Differential Application: It can accurately control at a pressure differential as low as 1 psid (70 mbar).
Precise Pressure Control: It provides stable and accurate downstream pressure control regardless of load changes or inlet pressure variations.
Quiet Operation: The optional whisper – trim cage can reduce noise by up to 30 dBa.
Easy In – Line Maintenance: The top – entry design enables easier maintenance. Trim parts can be inspected, cleaned, and replaced without removing the body from the pipeline.
No Atmospheric Bleed: By utilizing a pilot – operated control system, it eliminates any harmful exhaust gas bleed into the atmosphere, as all gas is bled to the downstream system.
High Turn – Down Capability: The oversized diaphragm and linear cage allow for a high – turn – down ratio, providing excellent pressure control in systems with large variations in downstream flow demand.
Tight Shut – Off: The knife – edged metal plug and soft seat provide bubble – tight shut – off, which is suitable for applications where positive shut – off is required, such as dead – end systems.
Travel Indicator: It simplifies in – service inspection and system troubleshooting.
