Tartarini B249 Spare Parts – Technical Overview

The Tartarini B249 (also written B/249) is the integral-slam-shut version of the spring-loaded B/240 series service regulator, used in natural gas, LPG, air and low-temperature gas distribution systems. Where the B/242 is supplied without a safety cut-off, the B249 carries an internal overpressure and underpressure slam-shut controller — typically the OS/66 — that latches the valve closed when outlet pressure drifts outside the set band, with a response time of about one second and manual reset after tripping.
