GULDE 5100 Single-Seat Globe Control Valve DN15-DN150 CL150/300 Flanged
Product Overview
The GULDE 5100 is a single-seat globe control valve supplied as a matched valve and actuator assembly. Valve and multi-spring diaphragm actuator are selected as one system, so once body size, seat bore and air supply pressure are fixed the actuator is defined and no separate sizing calculation is needed.
Sizes run DN15 to DN150 (NPS 1/2 to 6) with ASME CL150/300 or PN10-40 flanged ends. Bodies are available in WCC carbon steel, LCC low-temperature steel or CF8M stainless, with Stellite-hardened trim as an option. Shutoff is Class IV metal seat or Class VI soft seat; flow characteristic is equal percentage or linear with rangeability of 50:1. Standard packing is dynamically loaded PTFE V-ring, and actuator air supply may reach 6.0 bar (87 psi).
Key Features
Single-seat globe valve with matched multi-spring diaphragm actuator
DN15 to DN150, ASME CL150/300 or PN10-40 flanged connections
WCC, LCC or CF8M body; Class IV metal or Class VI soft seat shutoff
Equal percentage or linear trim, rangeability 50:1, Stellite option
Dynamically loaded PTFE V-ring packing; linkageless 3800SA positioner
Typical Applications
The 5100 is a general-purpose control valve for water, steam, air, natural gas and process liquids in petrochemical, chemical, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical and utility plants. A bellows bonnet version handles toxic, hazardous or costly media, and an extension bonnet extends service to 427 C.
Selection Guide
Quote body size, pressure rating, Cv, normal and maximum flow, upstream and downstream pressure, temperature, fail action and whether a 3800SA or other positioner is required. Balanced trim is available for the larger seat bores to reduce actuator thrust.
