FISHER DVC6010 FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controller HART 4-20 mA Sliding Stem
Product Overview
The Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6010 is the sliding stem member of the DVC6000 family, designed for direct mounting on straight-through globe valves with strokes from 9.5 mm to 102 mm (3/8 to 4 inch). It replaces a pneumatic or electro-pneumatic positioner and brings digital communication and self-diagnostics to the valve assembly.
The instrument is loop powered by 2-wire 4-20 mA with HART communication, minimum 11 VDC at the terminals, and supplies 0.4-9.5 bar (6-140 psi) air to the actuator, up to 95 percent of supply. Independent linearity is within 0.5 percent of span. The low-copper aluminium housing is rated for -52 to 80 C ambient and accepts supply pressure up to 10.3 bar (150 psi); single and double acting actuators are both supported.
Key Features
Designed for sliding stem globe valves, stroke 9.5 mm to 102 mm
2-wire 4-20 mA loop power with HART communication
Pneumatic output 0.4-9.5 bar (6-140 psi), linearity within 0.5 percent
Low-copper aluminium housing, ambient -52 to 80 C, supply up to 10.3 bar
Supports single and double acting actuators with auto setup
Typical Applications
Common duty is flow, pressure and level control on straight-through globe valves in natural gas pressure regulating and metering stations, steam and condensate systems, and chemical or water treatment plants. Travel feedback and diagnostics allow valve signature checks without removing the instrument from the line.
Selection Guide
The DVC6010 is superseded by the DVC6200, a drop-in replacement with the same mounting footprint. State valve size, actuator type and stroke, air supply pressure and fail action when requesting a quotation.
